Does Solve f(x) need an internet connection?

No. Every calculation runs on your device, so it works in airplane mode, in an exam room, or anywhere without signal.

What does Solve f(x) Pro unlock?

Degree 4 and higher, complex roots, multiplicity detection, extended precision at 8 or 12 decimal places, and solve history. It is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases.

How do the app and the web calculator differ?

The web calculator at the homepage is free and solves any degree, including complex roots, right in your browser — it just needs an internet connection to load the page itself. The iPhone app does everything the web version does, works with no internet at all once installed, and adds solve history. The app's higher-degree and complex-root features are part of the one-time Pro purchase; on the web they're free.
